It feels so daunting to Kurt, in some ways, figuring out these new tattoos and getting to know Jane all over again. For some reason, he didn't quite realize how much she had changed. The scary part is he realizes they've already spent more time apart than they've been married. Even longer than they've known each other.

He has so much faith in how much he loves her, but less faith in how they fit back together, how they make this work again.

Dinner has been good and it's just what they needed, but when the waiter asks if they want dessert, Kurt starts to speak, "Oh yeah, we'd love-" But then he stops, realizing the dessert they both always loves eating together - tiramisu - is something Jane won't want now. So he looks at Jane uncertainly. "Uh, I guess...just the check?"
