He doesn't want to go with them at all, but he when Jane insists it's okay, he only relents on one condition: that he be allowed to stay with her until she's able to at least fall asleep. He's not sure if she even will sleep tonight, but the idea of leaving her here like this, knowing the thoughts running through her mind, is something he can't abide. Amazingly, they agree to give him time, with both agents waiting down the hall so they have privacy.
Kurt sits with her again, taking one of her hands into his. She's shaking, and he frowns in concern, taking her other hand, cradling both hands between his. She's a little cold, too, so he warms them, tugging them close to his mouth to breathe warm air across her skin, kissing her knuckles and fingertips tenderly.
