Kurt doesn't think much of it when he suddenly decides he wants to cook a nice, big meal for himself and Jane. He's feeling a lot better after talking with Michonne, and his previous conversation with Jane, and he's trying to grasp some semblance of normalcy again. He didn't always have time to cook back home, but he enjoyed the opportunity to do so when he could.

He's never really cooked here, though, and tonight seems like a good night to amend that. He'll surprise Jane, and in the process, teach her a little bit about cooking. With everything ready to go for meal prep once she gets back, Kurt sits down to read a little, just waiting for her. There's a tulip on the counter, though, so it'll be the first thing she sees when she walks in.
